I'm a portrait artist based in Adelaide, South Australia. With over thirty years of experience and a lifelong love for animals, I specialize in creating beautiful and lifelike portraits of your furry friends. Growing up surrounded by various animals—from horses and goats to birds, dogs, and cats—has deeply inspired my art.
In addition to pet portraits, I also offer custom people portraits. Whether it’s a family member, friend, or yourself, I bring the same dedication and artistry to capturing the essence and personality of the people in your life.
Custom Pet Portraits
I offer custom pet portraits using high-quality materials in coloured pencil and graphite. My commitment to quality ensures your portrait will have a long life, filled with hours of dedicated work and love to capture the true likeness of your beloved pet.
Custom People Portraits
Creating lifelike and emotive portraits of people is a true passion of mine. Using the same high-quality materials, I strive to depict the unique character and beauty of each individual, resulting in a cherished artwork that will be treasured for years to come.
To commission a portrait, please follow these steps:
Click the “Book Your custom Portrait” button to initiate contact and discuss your portrait options, including the expected completion time. (If you do not receive a prompt reply, kindly check your spam folder.)
For optimal results, refer to the "Tips for Photos" section in the menu. This will assist you in selecting the ideal photos for your portrait.
Choose up to ten photos of your subject that best represent the correct colours and features.
Email your selected photos using the “Book Your custom Portrait” button.
Submit a 25% non-refundable deposit (although it will be refunded if I am unable to complete the portrait).
I will commence work on the portrait and provide updates throughout the process.
Upon completion, and after your approval, the portrait will be delivered at a mutually convenient time or sent via post upon receipt of the final payment.
